On October 27th 2014, XIII Nationwide forum entitled “Strategic planning in Russian regions and cities. Updating strategies, updating meanings.” has started its 2014 working session. During the roundtable entitled “City rankings as a tool for targeting” Urbanica presented the 2014 edition of integral city ranking “TOP 100 Russian cities”. This year, Surgut earned itself the 1st place, Nizhnevartovsk is catching up on 2nd, and Tyumen got its bronze 3rd. The annual integral rating is developed by Urbanica for the 4th time already, and it clearly shows the changes of socio-economic development in the most populated Russian cities.
