Urbanica, along with main Russian urban planning institutions, was invited to work on a project that will be a basis for future Sevastopol master plan. Different companies have worked separately on the same project, generating ideas about future of Sevastopol, then each team brought its ideas onto the table. This way, experts from all the teams have given the best analysis and ideas for development of Sevastopol.
While working on a project, apart from traditional urban planning analysis, our team developed a Comprehensive Spatial Evaluation technique, with the help of which we were able to find out how effective was any specific area in the city, how many social, economic
and other functions were there, accessibility of the area by public and private transportation, etc. This technique helped us generate comprehensive ideas and solutions for spatial development of Sevastopol.
