On October 2nd 2013, associate director of Urbanica Alexander Kholodnov moderated a discussion called «Smart cities – economic development of regions», which was organized as a part of V international economic summit in Kazan, Russia. Members of the discussion talked over such topics as the ideology of Smart City, the issue of making new satellite towns, technological details of Smart Grid, and specific projects of smart satellite towns in the Republic of Tatarstan.
